Blow the candles out,
Total Defence Posters (Class Montage) (Wednesday, February 11, 2009)

This series of posters involved the entire class to contribute a part of themselves in it- literally.
We used 5 body parts from every 1IT student, to represent the five pillars of Total Defence- Military Defence- Hands, Civil Defence-Mouth , Economic Defence-Feet , Social Defence-Eyes and Psychological Defence- Ears.
Psychological Defence is each person's commitment to and confidence in the nation's future- defend against negative things you hear about the nation (ears)
Social Defence is about people living and working together in harmony and spending time on the interests of the nation and community- defend your friends and family-defend the people around you, don't see with eyes of prejudice. (eyes)
Economic Defence is the government, business and industry organising themselves to support the economy at all times. Individuals contribute by working hard and meeting the challenges of development. Those who continually improve themselves to stay relevant play an even bigger role- work hard and keep on walking, no matter the financial challenges of the economic downturn. (feet)
Civil Defence provides for the safety and basic needs of the whole community so that life may go on as normally as possible during emergencies- the role of protecting and warning with your words (mouth)
Military Defence is having a strong Singapore Armed Forces to deter aggression and protect the country. It also involves citizens doing their part to support the military- work hand in hand together with the military to protect our country (hands)
In short Total Defence is about everyone playing a part in the defence of Singapore.
Blow the candles out,
Looks like a solo tonight
One day
You will wake up
With nothing but "you're sorry"
And someday
You will get back
Everything you gave me
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
I'm beginning to see the light
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
But I think I'll be alright

I am
Bubbles and my sisters are Blossom and Buttercup. I love the colour blue whereas Blossom likes pink and Buttercup likes green. I have a favourite plush toy. Its name is...
Octy. Octy is purple octopus which has 3 tentacles only. It has dark purple dots around its tentacles. Octy is very special to me because its my bestest friend
ever
and I sleep with Octy every single night.

This is me and Octy.
I'm beginning to see the light
Opinions on others that think of me.
Bubbles is the softest and sweetest Powerpuff Girl. But that doesn't mean she's a pushover. She can kick monster's and villian's butts just as well as her sisters can.
Sometimes bad guys and monsters have a tendency to dismiss her, but they're the ones who are always sorry.
